Ion Chirinciuc, much more known by the stage name Vanotek, is a Romanian producer and DJ in the Republic of Moldova. He studied at the Octav Băncilă National Art College in Iaşi, then moved to Bucharest where he began composing for various artists. Vanotek stepped into the music industry at age 17, and in a very short time he collaborated with great names such as Antonia , Dan Balan, or DJ Sava . Vanotek's credits include "My Heart Is Gone," "Take the Highway," "In the Bedroom," and "Tell Me Who". Vanotek also produced the song "Balkan Girls" singer Corina, became a hit and whose video is now one of the most viewed videos Romanian on YouTube .
After the release of the song "My Heart is Gone" in collaboration with Yanka, staying single charts for weeks in Romania, Vanotek returned with "I'm Coming Home" by The Code & Georgian. At the request of fans and the audience who loved the play, Vanotek decided to join Eurovision and came second in the 2016 National Selection . The song was also appreciated abroad, countries like Germany , England and Portugal asking to broadcast it on their radio stations.
