Norway in the Europa Song Contest

Norway took part in the first edition of the Europa Song Contest which was hosted by the country in Sofia. The country was represented by Máddji with the song "Dawn Light". The entry was be selected via the broadcaster of the country, Norwegian Broadcaster. The song failed to qualify and got the 14th place in the second semi-final with 35 points.

It was announced that the entrant would be revealed, together with her song, on 28 March 2017.

Internal Selection[]

On March 28 2017, the Norwegian entrant was selected. It was chosen that Máddji would represent Norway with the single "Dawn Light".

At ESC[]

Both the semi-finals and the final were broadcast by Norwegian Broadcaster. The Norwegian HoD was the final and semi-finals television commentators respectively. Julie Bergan was the spokesperson that announced the Norwegian voting in the final.
