Mahan Moin is a Swedish singer and songwriter of Iranian origin, participant of Melodifestivalen 2014.

Biography

Career

In 2011 she won third place at the Googoosh Music Academy , the Persian version of the Idol television program . She released several music videos in Persian.

In 2014, with the song "Aleo", which she wrote and composed together with Wrethov , she took part in the Melodifestivalen 2014, a series of concerts aimed at selecting a representative of Sweden in the 59th Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. On February 1 she appeared in the first semi-pre-selection stage, organized in Malmö Arena , and did not qualify for the next stage, winning 6,943 votes from viewers.

In November 2016, she lent her voice to the Polish ghost DJ song Gromee. The composition was ranked first on the AirPlay list , the most-played songs on Polish radio stations. The single in Poland has been platinum certified for sales in over 20,000 copies. April 19, 2017 was published another common single duet "Runaway". The track was ranked 7th in the AirPlay ranking. Both recordings and the song "Lingo" went to Gromee 's debut studio album, entitled Chapter One.

She is the co-author of the song " Light Me Up " by Gromee and Lukas Meijer , who in May 2018 represented Poland in the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon

On 10 May 2017, Mahan Moin and Gromee were announced as the Polish representative for the second edition with her song "Runaway".
