Kazakhstan in the Europa Song Contest

Kazakhstan took part in the first edition of the Europa Song Contest which was hosted by the country in Sofia. The country was represented by A-Studio with the song "Here is Love". The entry was be selected via the broadcaster of the country, Kazakh Broadcaster. The song failed to qualify and got the 16th place in the second semi-final with 24 points.

It was announced that the entrant would be revealed, together with her song, on 29 April 2017.

Internal Selection[]

On April 29 2017, the Kazakh entrant was selected. It was chosen that A-Studio would represent Kazakhstan with the single "Here is Love".

At ESC[]

Both the semi-finals and the final were broadcast by Kazakh Broadcaster. The Kazakh HoD was the final and semi-finals television commentators respectively. Zhanar Dugalova was the spokesperson that announced the Kazakh voting in the final.
