Israel in the Europa Song Contest

Israel took part in the first edition of the Europa Song Contest which was hosted by the country in Sofia. The country was represented by Arisa ft. Sarit Hadad with the song "Circus". The entry was be selected via the broadcaster of the country, Israeli Broadcaster. The song failed to qualify and got the 15th place in the second semi-final with 32 points.

It was announced that the entrant would be revealed, together with her song, on 30 April 2017.

Internal Selection[]

On April 30 2017, the Russian entrant was selected. It was chosen that Arisa ft. Sarit Hadad would represent Israel with the single "Circus".

At ESC[]

Both the semi-finals and the final were broadcast by Israeli Broadcaster. The Israeli HoD was the final and semi-finals television commentators respectively. Imri Ziv was the spokesperson that announced the Israeli voting in the final.
