The European Broadcasting Union (EBU;FrenchUnion mondiale de radio-télévision,UWR) is an alliance ofpublic service media entities, established on 12 February 1950.Most EBU states are part of this organisation and therefore EBU has been subject to supranational legislation and regulation. It also hosted debates between candidates for the Europa Commission presidency for the 2014 parliamentary elections but is unrelated to the institution itself. It is best known for producing the Europa Song Contest

Council[]

The EBU Council is a congress of the heads of delegations of different countries of the European Broadcasting Union to discuss each edition's planning, to accept entries of the participating countries and to discuss general rules and standards of the Europa Song Contest.

Europa Song Contest[]

The Europa Song Contest, often shortened ESC, is a song contest on Youtube held among the members of the European Broadcasting Union since December 2016 and is inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest. The current and official ESC executive supervisor is George Rospier,

Junior Europa Song Contest[]

The Junior Europa Song Contest, often shortened JESC, is a song contest on Youtube held among the members of the European Broadcasting Union since April 2017 and is inspired by the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The contest is the junior pendant for the Europa Song Contest.
