Ileana-Maria Popescu , known as the Eneli scene , is a Romanian singer and songwriter.
Music career[]
Eneli has collaborated with the Vanotek producer and DJ , with whom he has released four tracks. "Tell Me Who", a single released in March 2017 and whose lyrics were composed by Eneli, enjoyed success both in Romania and abroad. The track reached the charts in Romania, Russia and Poland and has over 8.7 million views on YouTube. The remix of "Tell Me Who" by Slider & Magnit, a DJ from St. Petersburg , was ranked No. 6 in Shazam Russia and ranked 9th in Shazam Kazakhstan . "Vision", "Tara" and "Back to Me" are part of Vanotek's debut album, No Sleep, and were composed by the two artists. Like "Tell Me Who" song "Back to Me" is licensed to Ultra Music, a record label in the United States that focuses on electronic dance music. This has reached fifth in the top Shazam Russia.
Along with Turkish producer Mahmut Orhan, Eneli released the song "Save Me". With the "Mhm Mhm," Manuel Riva and Eneli climbed to 3rd place in the Breakout Billboard Club in the United States . The song was nominated in 2016 at MTV Europe Music Awards , under the category "Best Romanian Act". In Romania, the singles stood for 21 weeks in the top 10, culminating in 3rd place.
Europa Song Contest[]
On 29 June 2018, Moldovan broadcaster TRM officially announced that Eneli ft. a Moldovan DJ Vanotek were internally selected to represent the country in the contest with the song "Back To Me".
