Dusky Grey is a Welsh pop band set up in 2016 by Gethin Llwyd Williams and Catrin Hopkins. They were chosen to represent the United Kingdom in the eighth edition of the Europa Song Contest, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the song" A Little Bit".

Gethin is originally from Rhiwlas and went to Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen . His classmate was 'Dusky' in school because that was one of the meanings of the name Gethin. So together with his second name 'Llwyd' the name was called 'Dusky Grey'. In 2015 he went to Liverpool John Moores University to study Sports Science. The band started as an individual project after being inspired by Ed Sheeran and having a guitar as a 16-year-old gift. He published an album of his songs - Hide & Seek in 2016.

Catrin comes from Caernarfon and went to Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen where he studied Psychology, Health and Care and Photography in the 6th form. He had been singing locally and had some of his songs played on the radio. He won the Talent Cymru competition in 2013 and part of the award was to record a CD with the company LaBelaBel, Bryn Fôn record company . He had the opportunity to sing with Bryn Fôn and on television shows such as Noson Lawen and Chân i Gymru in 2015. In 2016 he studied at the university in Bangor. He contacted Gethin on Facebook to write songs and the partnership developed from that.
