Brooke Borg , also known as Brooke is a Maltese pop singer and songwriter. She represent Malta at the seventh edition of the Europa Song Contest, held in Akranes, Iceland, with the song "Heart of Gold".
Early Life[]
Brooke Borg grew up in Malta with her older brother Brandon, through whom she found her way to music. Early on she was interested in singing, acting and music. As a child she received ballet and jazz dance lessons as well as singing lessons, then piano lessons. With her brother was also in One TV television shows since she was four years Kikki Riki , Hip Hip Hurrey , Waw and in the PBS broadcasts Bum Bum il-bieb and Kidz Kwizz occurred. On the Maltese channel One TV, she was already allowed to play Little Ones as a six-year-oldmoderate. Since childhood she participated in several shows and music competitions, first in Malta and in Italy, later also internationally.
As a 17-year-old she went to London, where she took singing lessons with Joshua Alamu. During her time in London she sang at the Half Moon in Putney, the O2 Academy Festival, IndigoO2, Proud Camden and Ronnie Scott's. With Tony Maiello in 2010 she sang the song Echo at several events. Joshua Alamu produced with it, among other things, 2012 in Los Angeles , the music video for her song Fairytale, who ran in the Maltese radio and reached the top 10 of the Maltese singles charts. In Los Angeles, she also sang in the well-known music and night club Troubadour .
